About the Role

Next Step Scholar is looking for a Campus Engagement Representative who already knows their campus and can help build relationships, promote the program, and organize monthly in-person student seminars. This is a practical role for a student who is organized, connected, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of campus outreach and event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the S&I team to plan and host one in-person Next Step Scholar seminar on campus each month.

  • Build relationships with Career Services, student organizations, faculty/staff, student leaders, and other relevant campus contacts.

  • Secure seminar space and coordinate event logistics.

  • Promote seminars through campus organizations, student networks, flyers, digital channels, and direct outreach.

  • Procure approved food, refreshments, supplies, or other seminar materials.

  • Manage a small, approved seminar budget responsibly and keep basic spending records.

  • Help drive student attendance and follow-up interest in Next Step Scholar.

Who Weā€™re Looking For

  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior at the university; any major is welcome.
  • Must be familiar with the campus, student community, and how to get things done on campus.
  • Ideally involved in clubs, student organizations, leadership groups, athletics, Greek life, or other campus activities.
  • Strong organization, communication, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable reaching out to campus stakeholders and students.
  • Able to commit approximately 5ā€“10 hours per week.

What Success Looks Like

  • One monthly in-person seminar is successfully organized and promoted.
  • Useful relationships are developed with campus stakeholders and student groups.
  • Seminar logistics, supplies, and the approved budget are handled responsibly.
  • Student awareness, attendance, and enrollment interest grow through campus outreach.

Compensation

$250 base compensation plus 25% commission on eligible student enrollments generated through the representativeā€™s campus outreach and seminar efforts. Final attribution and payment terms will be confirmed in the written offer.
