What is the DGS Summer Scholar Program?

The DGS Summer Scholar Program offers high school students an intensive, summer-based version of our flagship DataGen Scholars experience. In just a few weeks, participants will gain critical knowledge in data literacy, AI fundamentals, and the use of generative AI tools—all while earning two industry-aligned certifications!

The DGS Summer Scholar program prepares students for a future where data analytics and AI play a significant role. It covers a variety of skills, including using data for storytelling, understanding generative AI applications, and how to use AI ethically and responsibly.

When?

The DGS Summer Scholar program last six weeks. Enrollment for 2025 programming begins June 1, 2025, and lasts until August 31, 2025. We will accept applications at any time during this period.

Where?

All program activities are held virtually and can be accessed via phone, tablet, or computer.
